Festival of Light

Celebrating all things light and joyful to mark Diwali, this festival takes place throughout the museum and gardens, inspired by Chila Kumari Singh Burman’s neon installations. Join us for an array of colourful creative workshops, film, pop-up food stalls, performance and a finale of fire dancing! *Free admission. Charges and prebooking apply for film screening and one creative activity

FREE admission for families during half-term (26 October - 3 November) + a ‘Fantastical Story’ gallery trail inspired by Paula Rego’s work (suitable for 6yrs+)

All under 18’s go free. Up to 2 adults per 1 child go free.

Mini Monsters FREE Creative-Drop in
Halloween-themed session to create fun mini-monster finger puppets! No prebooking needed – just drop in on the day. Suitable for children aged 5+, children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
